SPREADER BARS AND SPREADER BAR SYSTEM KITS
Spreader Bars, for use in flying performers, keeping the lines apart to allow for flips, etc. These are a unique system that is created by using 6 series aluminum ends, in either natural or black anodized, with O rings to allow them to be installed as well as removed to allow for different bar lengths, or bar materials, depending on the application. They have tapered holes inthe ends, which allow the line to be compression fit with tapered rubber plugs in place, eliminating the need for so many shackles in the assembly. These bars are offered in aluminum as well as carbon fiber: the aluminum can be anodized black, the carbon fiber is 2 directional weave and comes with a smooth gloss coat. It is designed so that you can purchase end pairs, as well as various length bars, to make a specific kit. Please see the price list for the Spreader Bars.
Spreader Bar Types and Costs

These are the type on our You Tube and on our website. They use a tapered plug to hold the bar in place, eliminating 5 shackles in the set up. They are referred to as true spreader bars, as the 2 leaders go from the single pick to the performer. The tapered plug holds up to 1750 kilo, where it can slip, not fail. You can also use a shackle under the bar, using 2 top leaders, and these have been tested in this configuration to 4.5 tons force. Please watch the You Tube videos to clarify.

*We usually make quotes on kits consisting of several sets of ends and bars, so they can interchange as needed. Please note that custom sets are made to order, and can be ordered with anodizing, but take longer and cost current market rate for the coating. Can be ordered in black or various colors. Also, custom plated ends with breasting holes, custom steel bars and any special requests can be machined as per request. Let us know and we can quote your requirements.
