GOLDTAILS
The improved version of the Goldtail, the deceleration rope friction brake.
This has improved radius on the pockets for the use of the newest class 2
double braid ropes in use. It is made from papered aluminum 6 series
billet, stainless steel hardware, mil-spec hard coat anodized, and laser
engraved with serial number, date of manufacture, as well as working load
limit of 600 kilo: based on a 10x design factor being tested to 6.5 tons to
mbs on our in house hydraulic proof tester.

GOLDTAIL MOUNTING KIT
We offer a hard mounting kit to mount the gold tail to the truss base
operating station. It mounts the gold tail in the correct orientation to
operate it in the most effective and versatile fashion. It is comprised of 2
mounting bobbins machined from 6 series aluminum, with spacers, and
12mm stainless steel bolts to attach to the clamps truss clamps that are
being used. These come in either raw aluminum or anodized black and are
usually in stock with the gold tails.
Cost is 75€ for a pair to mount 1 gold
tail. Sold without clamps, as this is such a diverse choice for each
system. We can recommend clamps, as well as get them for an extra
cost.
